1 3/8″ hole for LED Signal Lights
Installation of the turn signal switch:
Mount the signal switch to the steering column with the supplied clamp.
Insert screws into anchors, on one side you’ll add the ground wire.
Insert the screws into the top of the signal switch, approximately 3 turns.
Cut metal strap to 4 1/2″ and mark 1″ on each side.
Bend at 1″ and put clips on.
Form the strap over the column (smooth side up) and tighten screws.
Mark and drill a 3/4″ hole into the plastic panel below the steering column as shown.
Carefully feed the wiring harness through the drilled hole and clip the grommet into place.
Important: Avoid routing wires against the pedal return springs.
Route the short black, yellow, blue, white, and grey with a black stripe section of the harness to the brake pedal area.
Locate the brake pedal switch and cut the brown wire approximately 1½” away from switch plug. You may need to unplug the switch and unwrap some of the tape from the factory harness to ease the installation.
2021-2024 models
2018-2020 models
Connect the grey with black striped wire to the factory brown wire at the plug end of the brake switch as shown with supplied butt connector.
2021-2024 models
2018-2020 models
Connect the black wire to the remaining end of the factory brown wire.
Cut one of the green wires (doesn’t matter which one for the 2018-2020 models) approximately 1½” from the plug and splice in supplied green wire with stepped butt connector as shown.
Connect the green, blue and yellow wires to the supplied flasher as follows:
Green = X = +12 V
Blue = P = Pilot light / On switch
Yellow = L = Load / Lights
Connect the white wire with the black wire from the flasher to a good clean ground with the supplied zip screw.
Secure the flasher and connecting wires under the dash with zip ties.
Route the remaining harness through the large firewall grommet on the far-left hand side.
Split the remaining harness branches near the large factory harness plug on the left fender. Route the single grey wire under the brake master cylinder along the factory harness and to the frame rail ending at the left rear of the vehicle securing it to the existing wires as you go along with zip ties.
Locate the brown wire at the left taillight connector and cut approximately 5” before tail light connector as shown
Attach the single grey wire to the cut brown wire closest to tail light plug (red arrow) and terminate the remaining wire and seal with heat shrink tube (red X). Secure any loose wires to existing wire harness.
Route the remaining under hood harness along factory harness toward the left headlight. Locate and cut the green with white striped wire feeding the left factory fender light and splice in the brown wire with supplied stepped butt connector as shown. Cut brown wire down to size unless you have a 2022 model.
(2022 model, the green w/white stripe is located on the passenger fender by the air box)
Marker lights (brown wire) can also be ran back through the firewall and connected to the headlight switch under the dash.
2022 Model
*NOTE: On 2021 and newer models this wire is optional for marker lights on the grill. (No fender marker lights after 2019)
Continue harness to left signal light, over the radiator support tucking wires behind grill weather strip clips to right signal. Signal wiring as follows:
Left Side: Brown=Black Green=Red Ground white wire
Right Side: Brown=Black Red=Red Ground white wire
Verify that all connections are heat shrunk, correct, and that no wires are routed in an area where they may be damaged or crushed.
Reconnect the battery and verify that signal operation is successful with the turn signal switch.
