Fuel Tank Skid Installation Guide

ALWAYS UTILIZE PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU ARE WORKING IN THE SHOP.

Begin with loosening the four bolts on the fuel tank. DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT!

Now, with the tank loose, use a yardstick to slide a motorcycle strap between the tank and the rock guard.

Use the strap to secure the tank to the frame and tighten to hold the tank in position.

Once tank is secured remove the 4 bolts and the stock rock guard. Next take the OTR skid plate, hold into position and start the bolts. Do not tighten.

Fuel Tank Skid Installation Guide

Begin with loosening the four bolts on the fuel tank. DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT!

Now, with the tank loose, use a yardstick to slide a motorcycle strap between the tank and the rock guard.

Use the strap to secure the tank to the frame and tighten to hold the tank in position.

Once tank is secured remove the 4 bolts and the stock rock guard. Next take the OTR skid plate, hold into position and start the bolts. Do not tighten.

Pull the strap out and tighten all the bolts.
