If you have made modifications to your Mahinda ROXOR such as oversize wheels and tires, ECU flash / tune, and/or regearing, you are likely exerting more stress on the front frame rail than it was intended for out of the factory. All parts are subject to wear and tear over time, but if you’re playing hard in your ROXOR, you may start to notice cracks in the frame rail, which is what happened to us on one of our ROXORs. We noticed this problem after problematic flexing and slop had already developed where our steering box met up with the frame rail.

In this article, we’ll explain what happened and how we fixed it with some custom reinforcement plates. In hindsight, it would have been far better to reinforce the frame rail before it became this fatigued, which is why we are now selling the exact same ROXOR steering box reinforcement plates we used so that you can reinforce your own frame rail. After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

The boss recorded a video talking through the problem and how we fixed it that you can watch through our YouTube channel below.
